About Us

Digital Business Machines, USA, Inc. was founded and incorporated on March 1, 1998. Beginning with one vendor, Riso, they have since added Toshiba and MBM.
The history of the company began in Pretoria, South Africa with current company president Hector Bezuidenhout.

Hector, believed then as he does now, that you must offer more to your customers than they expect in order to earn the right to keep their business and to provide for their ongoing product and service needs.
As the founder and president of the largest and most successful Riso/Toshiba dealership (TRD, Inc.) in South Africa, Hector was offered the opportunity to open a second branch of business, which would be located in Nashville, Tennessee.

In March of 1998, together with his wife and two sons, the Bezuidenhout family began Digital Business Machines (DBM, Inc.)
During the following years, DBM has managed to excel beyond its original expectations in a market that not so long ago was truly foreign to them. After struggling to establish an identity in the Nashville market during its first year of business, DBM successfully achieved more than 867% of new sales volume in the second year and an additional 166% of new business in the third year.

Over the past ten years, DBM has successfully exceeded its goals with Riso and Toshiba product lines, offering a complete range of printers, copiers, fax machines, duplicators, folders, collators and much more to satisfy virtually any type of office equipment needs.

Today, DBM is a company with 25 employees and a facility three times its original space. Convinced that integrity and commitment to being the best are its strongest assets, DBM is determined to be the premier office equipment company and business solutions provider to its customers.
